For Trancedance is not needed any previous experience, you join the dance at the time which is most convenient for you. We were already working on chakras, the five elements that correspond to the chakras, and this year's theme is based on the previous one, namely
Koshe (Pancha-kosas), or five layers of Spirit (Atman) are described in Taittiriya Upanishad:
-Annamaya Kosha - physical sheath
-Pranamaya Kosha - energy mantle
-Manomaya Kosha - the mental sheath
-Vijnanamaya Kosha - wisdom, knowledge and more intuitive awareness
-Anandamaya Kosha - sheath of pure light and spiritual bliss
Understanding Koshas is the way to understand the aura, but also much more than that. According to Vedanta, the wise people are aware of the subtle impact of the five elements within each kosha. Through Trance Dance we can get on the path of their awareness to the Universal Self.
